About Gwen
Gwen holds a Bachelor's in Art History from Georgetown University, and a Master's in Digital Media from a consortium of 4 universities (University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, BCIT, and Emily Carr) in Vancouver, BC.
Gwen currently serves as the Director of Marketing for North America for a global strategic communications firm. Prior, she held marketing and communications manager roles at a multinational bank, a high-growth startup, and a global market research firm, focusing on improving the companies’ websites and optimizing marketing channels for business development and brand awareness.
Concurrently with her full-time jobs, she has designed websites and provided digital marketing consulting for clients with businesses in a variety of industries, ranging from agriculture to film, for over a decade. Gwen also comes with experience in graphic design, fine art, writing, and editorial work, making her a well-rounded marketing professional.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Gwen enjoys tennis and squash, outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking, drawing and painting, and reading fiction, particularly historical fiction. Music is a very important component of Gwen’s life, and she has been playing violin and piano for the better part of it.
